Awaken me from this nightmare ch.1

Sonic: I was so blind... to see how much she cared for me.. but when she needed me i was too late. Like they say you never know what you have until it's all gone. To think it all started just a while back... and I could have stopped it..

((months before))

Sonic: I was running like I always am and I was so lost in thought that I didn't see Amy. My eyes widened. "A-Amy! Look out!" She turned around but by then I was too late and we both fell to the ground. I rubbed my head. "Are you okay Amy?" I opened my eyes and fell back as the sunlight hit against her beauty. She rubbed her head and looked at me. "Yeah I'm okay.." I smiled as i stood u and held out a hand to her. "Need a hand?" She smiled and grabbed my hand. "Thanks Sonic.." I nodded with a smile. I pulled her up but apparently I pulled her too close making our faces meet. I blushed completely as I looked away and let her go. "hehe sorry about that Amy..." She smiled lightly. "Well Amy.. I-I need to go." It looked like she was going to tell me something but I didn't let her because I ran off.

I felt bad but for some reason i just... I sighed. "I'm sorry Amy.... I wish I could tell you..." I closed my eyes as I ran over to the one place I always went to go think things through.


Amy: I stood there with my mouth open again... I sighed as I closed my eyes and looked down. I sat down as i watched the sunset. "Every time I try to tell him.. he runs off... It's been years... since i have been. Even since we were young... and now that we are older I still keep trying... but...." I sighed. I buried my face in my hands when I heard a familiar yet deeper voice. "Humph... still thinking about that faker...." I turned around and saw his red eyes gleam in the shadows. "S-shadow? I though you were at a mission?" He crossed his arms as he stepped out of the shadows. "I was.... but days turned into weeks... weeks into months and eventually months turned into years..."

I raised an eyebrow as I looked at him. "Did you ever find what you were searching for" He shook his head. "No...." He leaned against the tree as he looked at me. "i see you have changed over the years... But you chasing after that faker hasn't..." I sighed and looked down. "He's not a faker Shadow..." He walked over to me. "Humph..has he told you how he feels?" I looked down. "No...." I looked up at him. "Then why do you keep going after him?" I sighed and looked away. "I -I don't know...."

Sonic: I sat down by the meadow as I flattened my ears. "I feel bad..... What I did to Amy.... Again..." I sighed as I heard a familiar female voice near by.
